It seems easier to believe that than to believe a person might actually be sorry and never do it again. A major trust was broken and that's hard to get back. If someone who has never done anything like that before in their life cheats, is genuinely sorry for it, tries to make up for it, and I truly loved that person I would try to believe they'd never hurt me in that way again. It wouldn't be easy for sure. I haven't had it happen so I can't say I know what it's like to be on that side.

I would certainly say that depends on the spectrum. If you are referring to the spectrum of human emotion, then yes; completely and whole-heartedly. I would know no joy if I held no conception of sorrow. Some have held more sorrow than others and they who can love and appreciate it the greatest. Yet there is something to be said for the dreamers, the empathisers. They visualize a pain beyond their notion, yet, in some kind is masochistic sainthood they take the hate and sadness they see in upon themselves. The beauty and curse of the active imagination of the heart. Now if you are referring to the spectrum of lightwaves, I would have to pass. Everything would always be a blur before my eyes and I would miss every sunset, queeny.
ReplyDeleteI really should read the title of the entry before responding. You know my stance on that item. Old habits die hard regardless of the consequences. This is one of my few pessemistic beliefs. Strange, huh, queeny?...
